Coconut Shortbread

Create delicious as well as beautiful stamped cookies with the

flavor of coconut for your Christmas celebrations with family and friends!

Ingredients

1 or more Rycraft cookie stamps

1 cup shortening or butter

1/4 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1 cup finely-shredded coconut

1 tsp vanilla or almond flavor

Food coloring

Paint brush

Method

Cream shortening and sugar well.

Add flour, coconut, and flavoring. Mix well.

Press in 9″ x 15″ jelly roll pan.

Stamp in rows with cookie stamp (a square stamp works best).

Bake at 325ºF for 30-35 minutes.

Cut in squares when hot from the oven.

Cool thoroughly, then apply food coloring one color at a time.
