Jersey Ice Cream Company's Recipe

A twist on classic shortbread that tastes delicious and is so easy!

Ingredients

2 sticks salted butter (1 cup)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Method

Cream butter and sugar for two minutes.

Add in vanilla and blend.

Add in salt and blend.

Add in flour one cup at a time and blend.
Roll into one inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar.

Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and stamp.

Bake at 325ºF. for 22 minutes.
